Andrew has personally lived through numerous major disasters such as Hurricane Andrew, the summer of 2004 hurricane season in Florida (the eye of three hurricanes hit Andrew’s house), ice storms, blizzards, dust storms, etc.
Because of this Andrew has volunteered after various disasters to help people recover from major events ranging from hurricanes, floods, tornados, etc.
These real-world crises and disasters drew Andrew to learn more to equip others to Thrive in these times of hardships.
Andrew has practiced his preparedness skills (lived off grid with his family in a simulated disaster training scenario) and earned various certifications from disaster relief organizations such as FEMA, Crisis Response International, and the Red Cross.
Andrew is always taking courses to learn more skills to help his family and clients live better lives.
A short list of the things Andrew has gained knowledge about are fire making, water storage and filtration, food storage, gardening, bush craft, orienteering, renewable energy, off grid living, wilderness first aid, ditch medicine, HAM radio and other communication methods, situational awareness, self-defense, trade and bartering, disaster proofing businesses, and well the list goes on and on.
Andrew takes this knowledge base and applies it to systems for others to use so that they can live a life with less stress so that they are able to walk in their Kingdom calling no matter what is happening around them.
Andrew has a B.S. in Business Administration and has run various successful businesses over the years alongside his wife Carrie. Andrew also was a Highschool Special Education Teacher and worked for Wycliffe Bible Translators.
Andrew currently lives in a small town in Northwest Arkansas with his wife Carrie and four kids, nine (give or take) chickens, and two outdoor cats. Andrew likes to spend his free time reading books (Bible, preparedness related topics, business related topics, and occasionally a science fiction book), playing Chess, and watching movies with his family.
